The Ruggles-Troy Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a breakfast with the Easter bunny on March 24. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, eggs and will be held at the Nova Firehouse located at 254 Ohio 511. The breakfast will be a free-will cash donation and is sponsored by the Ruggles-Troy Volunteer Fire Department & Auxiliary. Breakfast will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.


Black River Schools will be hosting a community spaghetti dinner and talent show on Thursday, March 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Black River Education Center. Cost of the dinner is donation only. The Black River’s Got Talent show will be in the auditorium from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is $1. The art department and some classrooms will have projects on display. All proceeds benefit the Black River Endowment Fund to help fund classroom projects.


There also will be a free community egg hunt at the Black River Education Center on Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m. for children ranging from age 3 to fifth grade.
