Hudson will officially launch March 19, a new economic development website that city officials say showcases why the city is the place to do business in Northeast Ohio. 

During a soft-launch, the new site, created by WhiteSpace, won a Silver Addy from the American Advertising Federation in the Consumer Website category at the 2018 Akron ADDY Awards Ceremony Feb. 23.

With "Connected to our past ... Built for your future" as its theme, tells the story of Hudson’s historical heritage meeting high-tech innovation that will position Hudson for the future. Focusing on Hudson’s innovation initiatives as an Intelligent Community Forum - 2018 Smart21 Community, the site showcases Hudson’s progress against key drivers of social and economic development in the Internet of Things (IoT) era. highlights how Hudson is taking an innovative, pro-business approach to recruiting tech companies and supports that growth with 62 miles of proprietary high-speed fiber.

"We want businesses leaders to witness a fresh narrative here in Hudson," said Jim Stifler, Hudson’s Chief Economic Officer. "We’re preserving our past while putting the technology in place to help businesses grow their future and ensure that the City controls its destiny."
