Endangering children

Boy left in vehicle: A 36-year-old Oakwood man was charged with first-degree misdemeanor endangering children after a woman reported that a 3-year-old boy had been sleeping in the man's vehicle alone in the cold without the engine running for more than 20 minutes in the parking lot of a Darrow Road store during the early evening March 3. The man was given a Stow Municipal Court date and released on a personal bond.

Drug possession

Man cited during traffic stop: An Akron man, 19, was cited with minor misdemeanor drug possession after police stopped his vehicle for speeding on Ravenna Road at Gettysburg Drive at about 12:20 p.m. March 2. Police said they had probable cause to search the vehicle and found a small amount of suspected marijuana in it. No speeding citation was reported.

Man stopped for speeding: A Pebble Creek Drive man, 21, was cited with minor misdemeanor drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession after police stopped his vehicle for speeding on Canyon Falls Boulevard near Route 82 at about 4 a.m. March 1. Police said they had probable cause to search the vehicle and found a small amount of suspected marijuana and a digital scale with suspected marijuana residue on it. No speeding citation was reported.

Domestic violence

Parent report threats: A Twinsburg boy, 17, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor domestic violence after his parents reported he threatened them March 1. The boy was taken to Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.

Fraud

Woman arrested in Texas: A Killingworth Lane woman reported Feb. 28 that she had been contacted by a police department in Texas, which informed her that a woman had been arrested there who possessed the Killingworth woman's personal information, along with the personal information of some other people, for possible fraudulent purposes.

Arrest warrant

Woman arrested at home: Twinsburg police arrested a 45-year-old Holmes Drive woman, wanted by the Stark County Sheriff's Office on an identity theft charge, at her home Feb. 28. The woman was turned over to the sheriff's office.
