CUYAHOGA FALLS — Both the Cuyahoga Falls City and Woodridge Local Schools have closed school both today and tomorrow.
Both districts cited the extremely frigid temperatures forecast as a major factor in the decision to close, according to information on both districts’ websites.
According to information from the National Weather Service, temperatures are supposed to reach a high of 12 degrees today, with a wind chill factor as low as -10. Tonight’s temperatures are supposed to be -2 degrees, with a wind chill value making the air feel like a frigid -19 degrees.
Tomorrow’s forecast, according to the National Weather Service, is supposed to be even colder, with a high only reaching 7 degrees and a low of -3 degrees, with wind chills ranging from -16 to -20 degrees.
