Leaf and limb pickup in the village of Silver Lake has been extended, according to Mayor Bernie Hovey.

The mayor said any leaves or limbs placed on the curb by the end of the day Wednesday will be picked up by village service department workers. After Wednesday, Hovey said residents will be responsible for disposing of their leaves and limbs.

"The village will service each street one time only on Thursday and Friday," said Hovey. "We will not service any street more than once, and will keep a record of when any particular street is serviced."

Hovey added that residents should not place any leaves or limbs on the curb after their street has been serviced.
