AKRON — The Summa Health Medical Group recently announced the addition of five new providers to its organization of multi-specialty physicians.
New to SHMG are Drs. Pamela Drummond-Ray (gynecology); Donald Fisher (orthopaedics); Ingeborg Hrabowy (psychiatry); Loretta Isada (cardiology); and Alexandros Nicolozakes (cardiology).
Dr. Pamela Drummond-Ray, MD
Drummond-Ray, a gynecologist, has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in northeast Ohio for the past 16 years. Prior to joining Summa, she worked at the Life Stages Women’s Health Center, Inc., in Massillon, and the Canton Women’s Center. Dr. Drummond-Ray is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an assistant clinical professor in Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). She received her medical degree from NEOMED in 1997.
Donald L. Fisher, MD
Fisher has been an orthopaedic surgeon for more than 25 years, having worked most recently at the Crystal Clinic in Wadsworth. He was in private practice for 17 years in the city of Norton. Boardcertified in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Fisher is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and was an assistant clinical professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at NEOMED from 1997-2003. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1987.
Dr. Ingeborg Hrabowy, Ph.D.
Hrabowy, a clinical psychologist, has practiced psychology since 1991, most recently working in private practice in Cleveland. At Summa Health, she is working at the health system’s Medina location. Dr. Hrabowy is a member of the Akron Area Professional Psychologists and the American Psychological Association. A former president of the Cleveland Psychological Association, Dr. Hrabowy has trained or worked in five hospitals throughout her career. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she received both his masters and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Loretta Roach Isada, MD
Isada has been a cardiologist for more than 25 years, having worked for 14 years at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and six years at The Cleveland Clinic. As a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist, Dr. Isada has a special interest in echocardiography and valve disease. Dr. Isada’s practice is located in Akron on Park West Blvd. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo in 1986 and completed a fellowship in Cardiology from The Cleveland Clinic and is a former assistant professor of Internal Medicine at NEOMED.
Dr. Alexandros W. Nicolozakes
Nicolozakes, a cardiohospitalist, worked most recently as a cardiologist with the Health Professionals of Holmes County and has also served as chairman of Cardiology and medical director of Non-invasive Cardiology Services at Wooster Community Hospital during his 20-plus-year career. He also currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Nicolozakes received his medical degree from Ohio State in 1989 and completed a cardiovascular research fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine.
