SUMMIT COUNTY — A 36-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested Nov. 6 on the Ohio Turnpike and charged with trafficking after a routine traffic stop by troopers netted 4 pounds of marijuana and 12 vials of hash oil worth a combined $13,000 on the street.

John J. Augustine, of Leetsdale Pa. was eastbound on the turnpike near the Boston Township and Richfield Township border in his 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis with Pennsylvania registration when he was stopped for a speed violation.

"Criminal indicators were observed" and during questioning the suspect admitted to possessing the drugs, according to OSP.

Augustine was charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana, both third-degree felonies and possession of hash, a fifth-degree felony.
