TWINSBURG -- The Bicentennial's signature celebration, Founders' Day, promises to have something for every generation on Twinsburg Township Square July 22. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

Activities, events and live entertainment will be spread throughout the day. Arts, crafts, old-time games, a dunk tank, Twinsburg Historical Society tours, movies in the church, a giant monster mural by Great Beginnings Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Gen Orthodontics, and a petting zoo will be available throughout the day.

Other featured events include a car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a free community lunch on Church Street from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a founders play at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; birthday celebrations at 1:30 and 4 p.m.; the 50-plus Year Recognition at 3:45 p.m.; and dog contests at 4 p.m.

Attendees will also get a first look at the contents of a time capsule retrieved from Crown Hill Cemetery in June.
