The show was after the Hub's press time due to holiday deadlines, but Hudson residents were set to welcome a national talent, The Boogie Woogie Kid, known as "Michigan's leading boogie-woogie pianist!" on July 2.

The concert was sponsored by bandstand committee member and Century 21 relator, Shane Reid.

Almost halfway through the 40th anniversary summer concert series, the community and visitors from surrounding areas are enjoying this great Hudson tradition. The planning committee is grateful for the continued support from concert sponsors, patrons and friends, as well as, help with coordination from the city of Hudson, Hudson Schools, and Heinen's.

The next concert will be July 9 at 7pm on the green in front of the bandstand (high school auditorium is the rain location). Hudson Bandstand committee member, Jim Sexton of Western Reserve Capital Management brings rock and roller, Quentin Flagg to the Hudson Bandstand. Quentin Flagg is guaranteed to get the audience up and dancing or at the very least, tapping their hands on the chairs passed out by the Hudson Firefighters Association.
