The 10th Annual Hudson Wine Festival will be held July 21 from 4 to 10 p.m. and July 22 from 2 to 10 p.m. along Village Way in the First & Main shopping district. Funds from the event will once again benefit animal welfare and military support organizations in Northeast Ohio including People Care Pet Pantry, Spay Neuter Ohio, Rescue Ohio English Bulldogs, and NEOPAT, (The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism), which supports active and retired military personnel and their families.

"It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since we started and it's been an amazing journey," said Debra Sherman, president/owner, Connecting For A Cause. "We are very grateful for the support we have received along the way from our sponsors, exhibitors and beverage suppliers and recognize that they have helped us to become a popular staple in the event landscape in Hudson and one of the most featured festivals in Northeast Ohio."

The Hudson Wine Festival showcases over 150 wines from local, national and international producers as well as dozens of craft beers and spirits. "We're proud to partner with Discount Drug Mart as the official retail store of the festival again this year. Our guests love the fact that they can stop by their local store to pick up their new favorite beverage sampled at the festival. Additionally, our partnership with House of LaRose and Stella Artois allows us to showcase a variety of new craft beers that have recently entered the market as well as some perennial favorites," said Sherman.

A new feature this year is the Stella Artois Airstream which will be on site allowing guests the opportunity to try their products while enjoying a casual lounge area. Attendees can also enjoy delicious food from Rosewood Grill of Hudson and the Wok It Out and Friendly Fork food trucks, a variety of exhibitors and artists, a stop in the Suncrest Gardens Relaxation Station and of course leashed pets are welcome.

Live music is a big part of the festival and this year's lineup includes 732 The Electric Duo, Eli's Coming, Road Home with Karyn Morgan and Funkology who will take the stage with their high energy horn section on Saturday evening playing a wide variety of hits from the 1960's through today including classic Motown, pop, disco, and rock.

Exhibits include various vendors throughout the site offering a variety of products, services, and hand-crafted artwork. Guests will have the opportunity to visit with benefactors, have their photo taken in the Merrill Lynch of Hudson photo booth and visit the Messages for Military station where they can write a message of support to an active duty member of our military.

Held in conjunction with the Merchants of Hudson annual sidewalk sale (July 21 23), the Hudson Wine Festival will be a popular destination for shoppers, diners and the after-work crowd. Friday's festivities also include the Screen on the Green showing of La La Land on the First & Main Green after dusk.

Event Sponsors include Discount Drug Mart, Stella Artois, First & Main Hudson, Merrill Lynch Hudson, Rubber City Radio Group, Suncrest Gardens, Yadkin Valley North Carolina Wines and The WineBuzz.
