Police Reports is a sampling of incidents responded to by the Aurora Police Department. It is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Disputes: An Aurora woman reported June 18 that her ex-husband became very angry with her and her fiance during a custody exchange. Police said there was no threat of physical violence, and the woman was given information about handling custody exchanges civilly and in a neutral setting.

A Lake Avenue man reported June 19 having a verbal dispute with a woman who refused to leave his residence. The woman finally left after speaking with an officer.

Property damage: Someone reported June 14 that a car was driving erratically on an unspecified street and possibly crashed. Officers discovered the vehicle hit a traffic sign, but they could not locate the vehicle.

An Aurora woman reported June 17 that when she returned to her parked vehicle at an undisclosed location, there was damage to its top. No estimate was given and police could find no suspects.

Missing items: A Barberton man reported June 17 that he thought his jacket and sunglasses were stolen while he was at a party on Aurora-Hudson Road. He later told police he located the items.

Warrant arrest: A Bedford woman was arrested June 18 by Aurora officers for a warrant from Twinsburg police. She was handed over to a Twinsburg officer.

Trespassing: A Lakewood man and a Cleveland woman were issued summonses for criminal trespassing June 21 after being found on private property on Fairview Avenue which was posted "no trespassing."

Men from Chardon, Novelty and Burton and a woman from Medina were charged with criminal trespassing June 21 after being found on private property off Treat Road which was posted "no trespassing."

TRAFFIC-RELATED CASES

Suspended license: A Cleveland man was cited June 14 for driving on a suspended license after he was stopped on South Chillicothe Road for an expired termporary license plate.

Car hits boulder: An officer was called to a location on North Aurora Road after a Beachwood man was turning around in a parking lot and struck a landscaping boulder. No citation was issued.

Rear-end crashes: An Aurora man was cited for assured clear distance June 16 at 7:20 p.m. after police said he struck a Twinsburg man's vehicle from behind on West Garfield Road. The Twinsburg driver was taken to Cleveland Clinic-Twinsburg for treatment.

A Mantua man was cited for assured clear distance June 18 at 9:40 a.m. after police said he struck a Streetsboro woman's car from behind on South Aurora Road, pushing it into cars driven by a Chesterland man and Aurora woman. The Streetsboro woman was taken to Cleveland Clinic-Twinsburg by Aurora paramedics.
