Youth Services: Space fashion design

Explore space fashion design June 28 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Ever wonder what fashion will look like in the future? Design and make futuristic clothes with wacky materials and be ready to travel to outer space in style. This is for students entering fifth through 12th grades grades. Registration is required.

'Girl Power' is June 29

Manage the day-to- day stresses of teenage life with guided meditation June 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. This is for girls in grades 5 and higher. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Registration is required.

Take a practice ACT exam

This free test July 1 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will help prepare students for the actual exam. Register directly with Princeton Review at or call 800-273- 8439 ext. 5753. This is for those entering grades 9 through 12.

Make a summer craft

Youth entering grades 6 through 12 can beat the heat in Teen Crossings July 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when they drop-in to make and take Paracord Bracelets. No registration is required.

Space movie Mondays

Space Movie Mondays next installment will be July 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. Explore the universe with library friends by viewing the third of four popular movies about space. Admission, popcorn and lemonade are on the library. Refreshments will be served 10 minutes prior to start time.

War & Remembrance talk

Jay Musson will speak at the library in the accalimed War & Remembrance series July 8 from 11 a.m. to noon. Musson served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He is a founding member of American Legion Post 808 at the University of Akron.

Closed for the Fourth

The Twinsburg Public Library will be closed July 4 for Independence Day.
