The Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library are sponsoring a one-day book sale at the library, 3512 Darrow Road in Stow, on Tuesday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

2 Enjoy some ice cream:

Come in and enjoy ice ceram, root beer floats and more as Stow First Christian Church, 3493 Darrow Road in Stow, hosts its Ice Cream Extreme! ice cream social from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27.

3 Have breakfast at Acker-Moore:

Make reservations online at www.smfcc.com for the 44th-annual Pride Community Breakfast at Acker-Moore Memorial Post, 3733 Fishcreek Road in Stow. Cost is $10 per person. The event is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 28 and is sponsored by the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce. Winners of the Chamber's Business Person of the Year, Friend of the Community and Volunteer of the Year awards will be announced during the breakfast.

4 Be appreciated by the library:

The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library will show its gratitude to the public at its Patron Appreciation Day all day on Thursday June 29. Come and enjoy a full day of fun activiies including a petting zoo, free ice cream, face painters and more.

5 Listen to patriotic music:

The Stow Symphony Orchestra will perform patriotic music during its annual Summer Holiday Concert at Tallmadge Alliance Church, 1155 East Avenue in Tallmadge starting at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1.
