The city of Cuyahoga Falls and Western Reserve Hospital are hosting the annual Falls Furry Friends Adoptathon June 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the south parking lot outside of the city's utility billing department, 2310 2nd Street. The event will feature Humane Society of Summit County's Mobile Adoption Unit, where animals will be available to meet guests and potentially find a permanent home. The afternoon will also feature giveaways, pet safety decals, Envelopes of Life for emergency preparedness, pet bandanas, dog treats, animal safety education and more. Guests are invited to bring their pets.
