OHIO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
Ronald Thompson of Tallmadge graduated from Ohio Christian University with an MBA.
Natalie Beckwith of Tallmadge, a senior, was named to the dean's list at Thiel College for spring semester. A full-time student must attain a grade-point average of of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale to be named to the dean's list.
Jessica Deaton of Tallmadge was named to the Troy University Chancellor's List for spring semester/Term 4 of the 2016-17 academic year. The Chancellor's List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade-point average of 4.0.
Kathryn Speelman of Tallmadge has been named to the Champlain College dean's list for the Spring 2017 semester.
Students on the dean's list have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Speelman is majoring in professional writing.
Dori Parker of Tallmadge was named to the dean's list at Columbia College.To be named to the dean's list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0-point scale.
CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY
Andrew Manka, a 2013 graduate of Tallmadge High School, has earned a bachelor's degree in statistics from Carnegie Mellon University with honors. A student must maintain a 3.5 grade-point average or better to earn this honors diploma.
Tallmadge residents Joanna Catalano, a junior majoring in criminology and biology, and Amanda Kilway, a sophomore majoring in criminal justice, were named to the dean's list for spring semester at Heidelberg University.

Alison Gazafy, a 2011 Tallmadge High School graduate, graduated from the University of Akron this spring of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. She is the daughter of Frank and Sandy Gazafy.

BALDWIN WALLACE UNIVERSITY
Logan Banks of Tallmadge was one of over 180 students whose exceptional academic work was showcased during Baldwin Wallace University's Ovation Festival 2017. Banks, a graduate of Tallmadge High School majoring in psychology, presented a poster titled "The Effects of Caffeinated Supplements in Athletes Strength and Aggression."
BISMARCK STATE COLLEGE
Todd Davis of Tallmadge has been named to the president's honor roll with a 4.00 grade-point average for the Spring 2017 semester at Bismarck State College. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of classes to qualify for the president's honor roll.
