This delightful little guy with the bright smile is Chopper, a 7 year-old Pomeranian mix who was turned into a shelter by his owner who was having major surgery and could no longer take care of him. His previous owner adopted Chopper as a puppy and he seems to have been much loved over the last 7 years. Chopper has been an absolute gentleman since coming to Canine Lifeline to find the perfect new home. According to his previous owner, he’s good kids, cats, and other dogs. He has been fine meeting all dogs since he’s been with the rescue. Chopper has had no accidents in his foster home and is likely to be housetrained. In his previous home, he slept in a crate at night so is not bothered by crating. Chopper walks beautifully on a leash and knows some commands including sit and shake hands. He’s very affectionate with his human friends and loves riding in the car too. This easy-going little guy is going to walk into his new house and make himself right at home. Chopper weighs about 25 pounds but needs to lose about 5 pounds to be at his ideal weight. His adoption fee is $125. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please emailinfo@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Chopper. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. The rescue has no foster homes with young children so it isn't comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age.
