Nordonia Hills Branch Library hours

The library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Sundays.

Monthly Challenges

For Grades K-5. Monthly challenges will be located in children's area. Complete the challenge for a chance to win a small prize. For the May project, create your own comic strip.

After School Club

For children in K-4th grade. Wednesday, May 24 at 4 p.m. We will make bead fireflies and dragonflies.

Mystery Book Discussions

The Mystery Book Lovers discussion group is an informal group of adult mystery readers. Our next discussion will be Chaos, by Patricia Cornwell on Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m.

Senior Benefits Workshop

Join us for an educational program for seniors on Social Security, Medicare enrollment, and long-term care. Thursday, May 25, 6 p.m.

Adult Coloring Night

Bring your own coloring book or choose from provided coloring pages and spend the evening relaxing and coloring with new friends. Tuesday, May 30, 6 p.m.

College Funding Workshop

The cost of a college education has skyrocketed and, as a result, many parents feel completely overwhelmed, with little to no guidance on how they can minimize the cost of college. College Funding Educators of America was formed to provide comprehensive education to parents so that they can maximize financial aid and understand various college funding strategies that will help reduce their family's out-of-pocket expenses. Plan for Your Stuff

We all have stuff, and some of us have lots of stuff. At some point, we (or our families) will have to deal with our stuff. This can be a big and emotionally challenging job. Andrew Richmond discusses why you need to plan for your stuff, helpful planning tips, when & how to get an appraisal, ways of selling your personal property, and how to prepare yourself mentally. Crafters' Corner

Join your fellow craft enthusiasts for daylong fun. Bring your own supplies. All crafts welcome. Lots of table space to spread out. Refreshments served. Come for an hour or the entire day. Saturday, June 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

3rd-4th Grade Book Club

We will discuss the book, "Life According to Dani," by Rose Lagercrante (AR 3.4 Pts 1) on Monday, June 5, at 4 p.m. over drinks and a snack.

Wellness Yoga: Yoga Off the Mat

Learn soothing stretches that you can incorporate into your daily life in this gentle yoga series with Diane Bielecki, who graduated from the Cleveland Clinic School of Yoga. No mat is needed stretches are done standing or in a chair. Please dress in comfortable clothing and arrive 5-10 minutes early so that class may begin on time. This class is limited to twenty participants, and registration is strongly suggested. Wednesdays, June 7 and 21, July 5 and 19, 6:30 p.m.

For students in grade 5 and up.

Thursdays at 2 p.m. between June 8 and July 27.
