Lights ... Camera ... Enchantment! Holy Family School presents "Aladdin Kids!" Some very talented students at Holy Family School were very busy the last few months preparing for their presentation of the musical "Aladdin Kids!" This high-spirited production took many hours and lots of collaboration among so many students and HFS music teacher, Sandy Michaels. This shortened version of the original "Aladdin" production is set in Agrabah and chronicles the journey of Aladdin, a "street rat" on a princely journey. From the excitement in the Agrabah marketplace in the beginning of the show to the last curtain call, many student actors entertained the crowds with singing and dancing and so much humor. Mrs. Michaels' months' long "Aladdin" journey was filled with much fun and learning. "These students did an amazing job working together as creative problem-solvers and their hard work certainly paid off!" said Mrs. Michaels. "And, our hardworking students were able to share their talents in so many ways. It would be impossible to pull this off without all of their hard work and dedication." More than 60 students participated in the production, from actors to set crew to costume designers and more. The production was enjoyed by the student body and many parents and others during school-day and Spring Arts Festival productions May 3 and 4.
