This perfect gentleman with the great smile is Chance, a 7 year-old Shepherd/Lab mix neutered male who’s getting the second chance he was hoping for with Canine Lifeline. Rescuers  don’t know what led Chance to be homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter but this boy is a real gem and very deserving of that second chance. The shelter told Canine Lifeline he is a really nice boy who loves his toys and is great with other dogs and people too. He has not disappointed and has been a really good guy in his foster home. Chance knows a number of commands including sit and shake hands and likely more that we haven’t discovered yet. He has excellent crate manners and is very likely to be housetrained too. Chance seems to enjoy car rides and is very well-behaved in the car. If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a sweet, well-mannered loving dog, you’re going to want to meet Chance. Chance weighs about 65-70 pounds and his adoption fee is $125. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. He had a recent dental cleaning at our vet and now flashes a pearly white smile. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Chance. An approved application is required before scheduling meets with any of the rescue's dogs. They  have no foster homes with young children so they aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age.
