Tickets cost $15 for the event alone and $30 for the event, raffle and cornhole tournament, and are available from youth baseball players and coaches.

3 -- Spend some

outdoor time

with your dog

The Freedom Greyhound Rescue's annual run and dog fest will be May 20, with the run at 8:30 a.m. and festival at 10 a.m. at Sunny Lake Park. A handful of activities are planned, plus pet-related vendors will be on hand. Enjoy the day with your four-legged friends.

The annual Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is slated for this weekend in downtown Cleveland. The 5K and 8K races will be May 20 starting from Public Square and the 10K, half-marathon and marathon will be May 21 starting from Quicken Loans Arena. For details, visit www.clevelandmarathon.com

5 -- Attend Aurora High class of 2017 events

Next week, Aurora High's class of 2017 will wind up its year, and students will move on to college or whatever they choose to do with their lives. A baccalaureate service will be May 23 in the evening at Christ Community Chapel, and commencement will be May 25 in the evening at Parkside Church. Be advised that seating is limited at both events, and commencement requires attendees to have advanced tickets. Be sure to express your best wishes to graduates you know.
