The following actions were taken by Aurora City Council at its May 8 meeting:
Agreement with Hawthorn of Aurora and the Constan Development Co. for dedication to the city for public use of a portion of Aurora Lake Road.
Contract with CDW-Government ($20,472) through the state term schedule for a Dell Poweredge server with Microsoft Exchange server licensing.
Contract with CDW-Government ($11,807) through the state term schedule for a Barracuda backup service 690 device.
Establish a planning-zoning-building intern position.
Appropriate $5,000 from the trust/agency None for Under 21 fund to cover expenses for the None for Under 21 program.
Change in compensation for city workers Dombroski, Allen, McClintock, Fisher and Swanker.

Contract with Landsong Engineering for professional engineering services for inspection of in-house and outside projects.
Renew the current policy with HCC/U.S. Specialty Insurance Co. ($128,552) through Edward Sutton Insurance Agency for city property and casualty insurance for June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.

City tax budget for calendar year 2018. Public hearing set for June 12 at 7 p.m. Tax budget must be adopted by July 15 to comply with the Ohio Revised Code.
