Hudson city Council legislative lowdown for April 18:
City Council members Beth Bigham, President Hal DeSaussure, Dennis Hanink, Alex Kelemen, Casey Weinstein and Dan Williams approved the following legislation at the April 18, 2017, regular Council meeting. William Wooldredge was absent.
» A proclamation recognizing April 30, 2017, as National Therapy Animal Day in Hudson.
» A proclamation recognizing the month of April 2017 as Autism Awareness Month in Hudson and encouraging citizens to make Hudson an Autism-friendly community.
» A Motion to Acknowledge the Timely Receipt of the March 2017 Monthly Financial Report.
» A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a cost-share agreement with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for the Brandywine Creek Watershed Study; and declaring an emergency.
» A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement for the installation of drainage infrastucture at the Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club; and declaring an emergency. The budget for this project is $100,000.
» A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with DS Architecture for $31,075 for a planning and programming study for a new public works facility at Hines Hill Road.
» An ordinance amending section 230.04, Financial Disclosure Statement; reimbursement of costs to mayor and council members, of the codified ordinances to authorize direct payment to the Ohio Ethics Commission of annual filing fees on behalf of elected officials.
