Fashion in the Falls, a runway fashion show, will take place on April 28 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. at The Pavilion at Falls River Square, 2085 Front St. The event will feature spring trends from local retailers Urban Lace, All About the Piece, and Tarnish Ltd. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

"I'm proud of the collaboration between the city, Urban Lace, All About the Piece, Crave Cantina, Oh So Sweet Desserts, and MC Hair, as this is an innovative way to highlight our local clothing retailers and our small businesses right here in the city of Cuyahoga Falls," stated Mayor Don Walters. "One of the greatest aspects of this city is the willingness of residents and businesses to come together to showcase what we as a city have to offer."

"Our goal for the fashion show is to introduce the latest spring and summer trends to the city," said Whitney Milligan, Owner of Urban Lace and event co-chair. "Momentum is building in our downtown with the opening of Front Street and as a business owner in Cuyahoga Falls, I am excited to showcase what our businesses are doing."

"I have spent my entire adult life in Cuyahoga Falls and cannot imagine owning a business anywhere else," explained Susie Smith, Owner of All About the Piece and event co-chair. "This event is an opportunity to celebrate small businesses coming together with city government in the name of fashion and sense of community."

A cocktail and appetizers reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the fashion show will commence at 7:30. Food will be provided by local businesses Crave Cantina and Oh So Sweet Desserts. Hair and makeup will be provided by local salon MC Hair. Featured looks will be available for purchase immediately following the show.
