A boil alert is in effect for Grove Avenue, between Hudson Drive and Norwood Street, and Hudson Drive between Marguerite and Keenan Avenues, until Thursday, April 20 at 4 p.m.

Following a water main repair on Monday, April 17, the water dropped below pressure, according to a news release from the city of Cuyahoga Falls. The alert was issued as a safeguard in accordance with EPA regulations. To ensure safety, water customers in that area should boil their water for a minimum of two minutes. The alert was originally in effect until Wednesday at 4 p.m., but was extended another 24 hours because a second valve was replaced, according to Cathy Meacham with Mayor Don Walters.
