Adrianna Polasky of Aurora is a member of Ashland University's Alpha Lambda Delta honor society. She is majoring in business management and is a 2016 graduate of Aurora High.

The Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society credits first-year individual students who have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average in their first or first two semesters. Its purpose is to encourage superior academic achievement among students, promote intelligent living and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals.

Maria Erste of Aurora is a member of Ashland University's Order of Omega Greek honorary. She is majoring in social work, is the daughter of John and Theresa Erste and is a 2014 graduate of Aurora High School.

The Order of Omega is the Greek honorary that recognizes students who have attained high standards of leadership in inter-Greek activities and within their chapters. The organization holds monthly meetings, publishes "TOGA," the all-Greek philanthropic newsletter, and sponsors the ROSE award to outstanding individuals of Greek chapters for academic excellence.

Members must be juniors or seniors of a fraternity or sorority and have at least a 3.0 grade-point average.

Skylar Dittrich of Aurora was named to the fall 2016 semester dean's list at Washington University in St. Louis. He is enrolled in the Olin Business School. At least a 3.6 grade-point average is needed to make the list.
