Boxer Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini will appear at a program entitled Stories From The Corner on Wednesday, April 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at TGIFriday's, 4300 Lakepointe Corporate Drive in Stow. The event will benefit Local Cooperating Charities.

One of the groups that will benefit is Rachel's Angels, which was formed in memory of Rachel Anne DeMaio, a Woodridge High School student who died last fall after her family said she used a drug containing Carfentanil. Rachel's mother, Cindy, said Rachel's Angels will help put together information that will distributed to other schools and the student members are also available to help their peers "if they're in trouble."

The evening on April 12 will include an opportunity for attendees to bid on bartender drinks and various other items. VIP tables available for an additional donation.

Those who attend and want to help Rachel's Angels should present a flyer listing the group's name to a server at TGIFriday's. Attendees present the flyer (with supporting charity name) to their server within the event timeframe, email a pic of their receipt to, and a portion of their food bill will be donated back to charity.

The flyer can be accessed at…oom-boom-mancini/
