The city of Cuyahoga Falls has issued a boil alert for Loomis Avenue between Tallmadge Road and Shannon Avenue until Sunday, April 9, at 7:30 a.m.

Following a water main repair on Friday, April 7, the water dropped below pressure, according to a news release from the city. The boil alert was issued as a safeguard in accordance with EPA regulations.

City water customers who live in the aforementioned area should boil their water for a minimum of two minutes.
