Breaking and entering: A person reported March 25 that someone broke into a maintenance shed on Squires Road and took a tow motor. It was found stuck in a nearby flower bed. A golf car and tools also were reported missing. The tools were found scattered around the property, but the golf car was not recovered. No value of the loss was given.

Harassment: A Cambridge Drive woman reported March 25 an ex-boyfriend would not discontinue contact with her. An officer called the suspect and ordered him to have no further contact with the woman.

Solicitation citation: A Virginia woman and Ohio and Maryland men were cited for soliciting without a permit March 21 after a Parkview Drive resident reported them soliciting in the area.

Fraud: A Lena Drive business reported March 21 that someone wrote checks from the business' account for $3,766 to unknown persons.

A Wood Haven Court man reported March 26 that an unknown person tried to open an account in his name at an area store, and later he received a letter saying he owed $12,000 for a check written using his information at a casino in Mississippi.

Dog at large: A Fairington Drive woman was cited March 21 for having a dog at large after police said her dog got loose and attacked a neighbor's dog.

Keys found: A man turned in keys to police that he found March 25 at the former Aurora Golf Club grounds.


Collisions: An Aurora woman was taken to an area medical facility following a collision March 9 at about 5:45 p.m. on West Garfield Road. Police said another Aurora woman traveling eastbound went left of center and struck the westbound other woman in the 500 block. One vehicle came to a stop against a tree and the other against a street sign. No citation was issued.

Police checked out a collision on the access road near Harmon School on March 21 at 7:40 a.m. which involved vehicles driven by Aurora women. No injuries were reported.

A Hudson woman was cited March 18 at 4:30 p.m. for not maintaining control after police said she made a right turn onto Walden Drive from South Bissell Road and struck the left front tire of an Aurora woman's vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Rear-end crashes: Police said an Aurora man struck a Garrettsville man's vehicle on March 14 at about 10 p.m. on East Garfield Road after being unable to stop during a heavy snowfall. No injuries were reported and no citation was issued.

Police said a rear-end crash occurred March 14 at 8:50 p.m. at Route 43 and Pioneer Trail because of adverse road conditions. No one was cited.

Cars off roads: A Cuyahoga Falls man swerved to avoid hitting a stopped vehicle March 27 on Route 306 and went into a yard. No injuries were reported.

A Streetsboro man was cited for not maintaining control March 19 at 4:55 p.m. after police said he veered off Route 43 near Aurora-Hudson Road, went airborne over a driveway, struck a curb and hit a tree. No injuries were reported.
