Akron, OH -  Cleveland Clinic Akron General is partnering with area community agencies to offer a Minority Health Fair on April 13 from 2-5 p.m. at REACH Opportunity Center at Summit Lake, 390 W. Crosier St., Akron. Another fair will also be held on April 27 from 3-6 p.m. at Mason Park Community Center, 700 E. Exchange St., Akron.

Learn about major health issues affecting our community – such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension and infant mortality – and the resources available to address them. Enjoy cooking demonstrations and samples, free health screenings, family fun activities and raffle prizes. Refreshments will be served, including healthy snacks. This program is funded by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health. Other participating agencies include the City of Akron, Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, AxessPointe Community Health Center, CareSource, Summit County Public Health and REACH Opportunity Center at Summit Lake.
