If you’ve got an active lifestyle and are looking for a great dog to have lots of adventures with, take a look at Dilbert! Dilbert is a 1.5 year-old Cattledog/Border Collie mix male with a fantastic disposition.

He came to Canine Lifeline, a foster-based rescue, as a stray from a county dog shelter so they have no info on his past but have been so impressed with him. He is one nice dog and handsome to boot!

Dilbert loves playing with other dogs and has never met a stranger. He settles down nicely in his crate after playtime and may be housetrained too although the rescue can’t guarantee that. Dilbert likes to be with his humans and wouldn’t do well left alone for long workdays.

He would love doggie daycare, dog parks, and would make a great jogging and hiking buddy too. If you’ve got the time and energy for a bright-eyed boy like Dilbert, he’d love to hear from you.

Dilbert weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.

Email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Dilbert. An approved application is required before scheduling meets with any dogs. The rescue currently has no foster homes with young children so they aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age.
