CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The Woodridge Local School District Board of Education approved new contracts for a number of principals and directors and a supervisor.
Three-year contracts were issued to Beth Harrington, elementary principal; Joel Morgan, high school principal; Dr. Valerie Riedthaler, director of pupil services; Kirk Bennett, director of academic services; Nick Mayer, director of athletics/activities; Eric Unangst, director of technology services; and Vincent Spitali, supervisor of buildings and grounds.
Kristin Jagger was granted a one-year contract as an elementary principal and a two-year contract as an associate elementary principal. Jagger, who is currently the principal of Woodridge Intermediate School, will become the associate principal of the new Woodridge Elementary School when it opens in 2018, said Superintendent Walter Davis.
Patty Roman, currently the assistant elementary principal at Woodridge Primary School and Woodridge Intermediate School, will retain her title when she is assigned to the new elementary school in 2018, Davis said. Roman is in the middle of a three-year contract, he added.
"We are so fortunate to have such a great administrative team," Davis told the Board. "I can't tell you how much I rely on them to do the things that they do, and beyond."
