Dream Days announces the addition of Stow City Council Vice President Matt Riehl to the Board of Directors.

Dream Days is a not-for-profit organization based in Northeast Ohio that creates and facilitates specialized events for children, teenagers and adults of all ages with special needs and other chronic conditions. Its constant goal is to aid in the enrichment of all who participate in Dream Days unique programming. Though the name states that it is committed to a single day, it understands the necessity of providing opportunities that will build character for a lifetime and share the light and love of God with others.

According to Dream Days, "Matt brings an extensive record of incredible public service and major fundraising that will make a strong and immediate impact on the organization's current expansion and its long-term reach and sustainability."

"I'm honored to join the Board of Directors of Dream Days," said Matt Riehl. "This organization has made a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of people throughout Northeast Ohio and I'm looking forward to helping it grow and flourish even more."

"Dream Days was founded with the belief that all people with special needs should be able to access exceptional opportunity throughout their lives that creates a life filled with passion and the ability to pursue it," said Executive Director, Jonathan Schulz. "With that mission continuing to expand at a rapid rate, we could not be more excited to bring Matt on board. His background, skill set and love of the community will enable us to significantly grow our programming, outside funding and, ultimately, increase the amount of lives we can touch across the region."

Dream Days is the only organization of its kind in the region and has hosted nearly 75 events since its founding, impacting hundreds of families across Northeast Ohio. It maintains long-term partnerships with Cleveland's major sports franchises, PlayhouseSquare, Cuyahoga Community College's Hospitality Management Center, Mitchell's Ice Cream, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and many others.
