A Taste of Hudson, Inc. board of directors voted to install a new slate of officers to its board of directors for 2017.

Elected as officers for new terms are Bob Liskiewicz as president, Ed Sogan as vice president, Bob Carter as Treasurer.

Patrick Kelley remains as secretary and legal counsel.

"The new Taste of Hudson will return as one of the premier summer events in Ohio, and we take great pride in donating our proceeds to very worthy local charitable organizations," Liskiewicz said. "We have a very talented, passionate and committed team of volunteers who combine hard work and fun to serve the community each year."

Debra Sherman, executive director added, "The Taste has always been a Hudson-centric family event with great food, entertainment and children's activities. I look forward to working with the board of directors to continue the tradition that has become a vital part of the event landscape in Hudson each summer."

The Taste of Hudson, a two-day culinary, lifestyle and entertainment festival held over Labor Day weekend, annually attracts more than 30,000 people to Hudson's historic downtown. At the event, visitors may purchase delicious foods from several area restaurants while enjoying live entertainment, fine arts and crafts, children's activities, a wine and beer garden and much more in a family-friendly atmosphere. Over the last 11 years, the Taste of Hudson Inc. has donated more than $300,000 to various charitable organizations.
