The Arc of Summit and Portage Counties will host its 30th Annual Reverse Raffle and Auction on April 21 at Guy's Party Centre in Akron. The event includes a dinner, $2000 grand prize, reverse raffle, as well as a live and silent auction. The proceeds raised at this event will be used to directly benefit the people served through The Arc.

The Arc of Summit and Portage Counties is a nonprofit organization that advocates for people with developmental disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and other diagnoses. The local chapter is just one of more than 700 chapters across the nation working together to change public attitudes and foster respect, access and inclusion.

Merchants have been donating merchandise and gift certificates. Corporate sponsorships and tables are available. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the silent auction. Dinner is at 7 p.m. The auctions will feature entertainment tickets, sports memorabilia, jewelry, artwork and a variety of gift baskets.

The 30th Reverse Raffle and Auction is open to the public.
