Hudson City Council members Beth Bigham, President Hal DeSaussure, Dennis Hanink, Alex Kelemen, Casey Weinstein, Dan Williams and William Wooldredge approved the following legislation at the March 7 regular Council meeting.

A motion to authorize outdoor seasonal sales at Ace Hardware, 5824 Darrow Road.

A motion directing the clerk to send notice to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control indicating no request for a hearing regarding the transfer of a permit to sell alcoholic beverages from M&M Hudson Inc. dba Otani Japanese Restaurant to Otani Hudson LLC dba Otani Restaurant and Pub, 180 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract for the purchase of a 2017 Ford Explorer for $29,316 as a replacement vehicle for use in Park operations; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Century Equipment for the purchase of a replacement contour mower for $65,563 from Century Equipment for golf course maintenance operations at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Course; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Baker Vehicle Systems Inc. for the purchase of a compact track loader for $63,503 for parks division operations; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to advertise for bids and to enter into a contract for the Atterbury Boulevard storm structure repairs project between Lennox Road and West Streetsboro Road with the lowest and best bidder; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution approving the application for placement of 122.53 acres of land in a current Agricultural Use District for purposes of O.R.C. 929.02 for the Hasbrouck family farm, 6403 Stow Road, Hudson, Ohio.

A resolution approving the application for placement of 37.08 acres of land in a current Agricultural Use District for purposes of O.R.C. 929.02 for Jane Caniglia properties, LLC, 5230 Darrow Road, Hudson, Ohio.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to accept grant funding of $30,000 through the Summit County Emergency Management Agency on behalf of the Hudson Police Department for a Faro X130 laser scanner to benefit the Summit Metro Crash Response Team; and declaring an emergency.
