The City of Macedonia has announced it is sponsoring a community-wide phone and online survey of randomly selected registered voters beginning March 7. A press release issued Tuesday states the survey will be used to gauge residents' feedback on the city's services and financial management to help the city of Macedonia to better meet the needs of its residents.

"The City of Macedonia is committed to providing the best services to our residents," Mayor Joseph Migliorini said in the release. "It is our goal to find areas of importance for residents in order to prioritize where the City should invest its funds."

The survey is being conducted by the Hudson-based marketing and public relations firm The Impact Group at a cost of 23 cents per resident. The survey consists of 22 questions focusing on areas such as communication, roads, parks and recreation, senior services and more, the release states.

Residents who are not contacted who would nonetheless like to provide feedback can see the city's website at for a link to the survey.

"I encourage all community members to participate in the phone survey or online poll," Migliorini said. "Your input is important and all feedback will be taken into consideration as we plan for the future of our community."
