The League of Women Voters will host an information night on the Downtown Phase II project with its related projects concerning movement of the bus garage, salt dome and Hudson Public Power. The evening meeting will be in the Community Room at Laurel Lake on March 13 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

This meeting is open to the public and is at the beginning of Sunshine Week, when we focus on transparency of government bodies. The City has all the maps and drawings on the Hudson website.

City Manager Jane Howington and City Planner Greg Hannon will be on hand with maps of all the projects. After a short presentation there will be time for public questions concerning these projects. If you were unable to attend the city open house and have questions and concerns about the related projects, please join us.

LWV tries to educate and engage citizens in their government. Membership is open to both women and men over 16 years old.
