Zane’s Foundation will host a meeting March 14 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Church in Silver Lake, 2951 Kent Road, Silver Lake, Fellowship Hall.

The topic is "Reducing Toxins in Your Environment & the Medical Home" and will be led by Charisse Montgomery, Certified Patient Advocate, vice president of Patient & Family Advisory Council Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland.

Toxic chemicals can be found everywhere, from the air to the plastic in everyday items. The potential exposure to common toxic material can be even higher in a home with medical supplies and equipment than in a typical home. This workshop will teach you how to take common sense steps to identify the most common sense toxic materials in your homes and work to reduce exposure to them and make a healthier home for special needs loved ones.

Sorry, no childcare is available.
