Here are actions taken by Aurora City Council at its Feb. 27 meeting:

APPROVED

Amendment to Section 1159.04(e) "General Requirements for Electronic Display Signs" of the city ordinances pertaining to permitted areas for electronic display signs.

Amendment to Section 1159.03(a)(3) "Enforcement" of city ordinances pertaining to the review process for any variance granted for a sign within 250 feet of a designated historic district or T-1 zoning district.

Amendment to Section 935.01 "Exemption Level" of the city ordinances.

Contract with GPD Group ($45,950) for engineering design services for the Eldridge Road culvert replacement project.

Amendment to Chapter 161 "Employees Generally" of city odinances to reflect changes in compensation for city workers Frisbee and Martin.

Contract with B&C Communications ($11,898) for police department radios and dispatching consoles.

Contract with Enervest Operating LLC ($75,032) to relocate oil and gas lines on the Hartman property on Townline Road.

THIRD READING

Tabled. Agreement with Hawthorn of Aurora and the Constan Development Co. for dedication to the city for public use of a portion of Aurora Lake Road.
