Farinacci Pizza-Hudson donated all pizzas sold on Super Bowl Sunday to the Hudson City Schools Student Assistance Endowment Fund.

Farinacci Pizza-Hudson hosted its third annual Super Bowl Sunday fundraiser to benefit the Student Assistance Endowment Fund through the Hudson Community Foundation. All gross sales have been donated to the fund.

Owner Dave Janotka, his family and student staff members volunteered their time for this event. Over 30 students have participate in the past three years.

Janotka said, "with the help of the students, they sold more than 280 pizzas and given $4000 to the fund in the last three years."

The Student Assistance Endowment Fund is an endowment at the Hudson Community Foundation that provides funds each year to the Hudson Public Schools in order to help children facing financial hardship. The needs are identified by teachers and principals. In the past, funds have provided for student fees, field trips and summer school classes to these children.
