Members of the Stow-Munroe Falls Hudson Relay For Life and guests sampled some of the best soup and chili in Summit County during the kick-off of the 2017 Relay For Life event season. There were five types of chilis and five types of soups sampled Jan. 28 at Stow-Glen Retirement Village on Kent Road in Stow.

Donors contributed more than $330 in donations. The Judges' Pick for Best Chili was Scott Powell from The Gray Matters. Best Soup was by Norene Jones and Jynjyr Kucharik from The Mighty Ducks. The People's Choice for Best Chili was Team PTI and Best Soup was by The Friends of the Angel.
