The Cuyahoga Falls Amateur Radio Club announces it is offering a mid-level (General) Ham Radio license class at the Summit County Public Library, downtown Akron branch.

These classes will take place each Sunday starting Feb. 19 from 1:15 to 4:45 p.m. and will culminate on March 26 with a review and General Class license test. Students should have a current Technician license, and will earn a General class license when they pass the exam at the end of the class.

There is a course fee, which includes a copy of the Gordon West General class license manual, the VE test fee, handouts, and light refreshments. If you have the manual, the fee is reduced.
