EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY

Julie Lahtonen of Tallmadge was named to the Dean's list at Eastern Michigan University. A 2014 Tallmadge High School graduate, Lahtonen,a junior, is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Aging Studies.Her grade-point average for Fall semester 2016 was 3.94. She has been on the Dean's List every semester of school. She is the daughter of Joe and Shelley Lahtonen.

Megan Tomei of Tallmadge was named to Ashland University's Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time at Ashland University and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. An exercise science major, Tomei, a 2012 graduate of St. Vincent-Mary High School, is the daughter of Provie and Susan Tomei of Tallmadge.
