The magic continued after Harry Potter. About 35 Kindergarten, first-graders and second-graders Jan. 24 enjoyed learning about Harry Potter Science with fire burning basilisk, Erumpent toothpaste and dragon eggs before making a Galaxy in a Bottle at the Hudson Library and Historical Society Jan. 24.

The event was organized by Youth Services Librarian Christine Cox and Children and Teens Associate Kyra Berzonsky. Cox said there was a renewed interest in Harry Potter after J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie was released last fall.
