HUDSON -- Warfield & Company, a Hudson, Ohio-based accounting firm, has merged with Donovan, Klimczak & Company, an accounting firm based in Fairlawn with offices in Canton, Strongsville and Louisville.
DKC-Warfield & Company will continue to operate its Hudson office as a full-service location. The merger adds nine employees to the growing DKC firm, bringing its total employee count to 29 in five locations serving an ever-growing regional client base.
"DKC is an outstanding CPA firm, providing a host of tax and accounting services to a diverse base of customers, from entrepreneurs and small businesses to large industrial companies. We share a similar client base, as well as a similar business philosophy of serving clients beyond expectations," said Richard Warfield. "We are excited about our synergies, and our future, working to serve clients of all sizes throughout the region," he said.
Warfield opened his office in Hudson in 2006. He notes that his clients should expect no change in the quality of service, except to have the availability of additional resources from other DKC locations when needed. DKC opened its first office in Fairlawn in 1991 and added offices over the years through strategic mergers. Additional growth is anticipated in 2017 and beyond.
"We are absolutely delighted to add Rich Warfield and his team to our DKC family. Like us, the Warfield team understands the issues small businesses face and takes the time to find personalized solutions to their tax and accounting challenges," said Ted Klimczak, founder and CEO of DKC. "Both of our firms are dedicated to the highest standards of integrity and we look forward to merging our great teams."
