Hudson Fine Art & Framing hosting

reception Feb. 4

Escape the Ohio weather by coming to the Funky February Art Show featuring Bahamian artist Keith Wisdom and local artists, mother and son duo, Nancy and Ned Seibert on Feb. 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hudson Fine Art & Framing.

Wisdom's work showcases vibrant use of color that clearly arises from a Caribbean sense of color, rhythm, cultural identity and sensibility. Wisdom's artwork has been featured in a variety of venues from Artisan's Gateway Gallery on Paradise Island to The Uumbaji Art Gallery located at Kent State University. The gallery will have his diverse artwork from abstract acrylics on canvas to geometric colored pencil on paper to brighten Ohio's grey days.

The Seibert mother and son duo have collaborated to create unique large abstract paintings. The paintings reflect nature by using paint, sand and stone to evoke the feeling of sky, earth and water. Splitting time between Ohio and Naples, Florida, they know that we all need a little sand and surf this time of year.
