Coffee & Conversation Book Discussions

Join us for some great conversation with your fellow Nordonia Hills readers! Our afternoon book discussion group meets the second Thursday of each month. Our next discussion is Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. We will discuss "The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessey," by Rachel Joyce.

"Books You Might Have Missed 2016"

Sit back with a hot beverage and a treat while we tell you about nearly 60 titles, both fiction and nonfiction (don't worry we give you a book list so you can mark the ones that sound interesting). On Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. take an intriguing look at the year past, and find some new titles you may love!

Writers' Guild of Nordonia Hills

Writers wanted! New writers and old hands welcome: fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Have your work critiqued and give feedback to others in a fun and friendly environment. Please bring a sample of your work to share. Light snacks provided. Meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on Jan. 18.

No School Library Party

Bring your friends and have some fun on your day off school. Join us Jan. 20 at 1:30 p.m. for a Lame Gift Swap! Everyone gets gifts they don't want. Come and trade it for one you like better. (You must bring something to trade.) For students in grades 5 and up. Please sign up.
