Nov. 5 was "Interaction 2016" at the Mayfield Church in Chesterland. It was hosted by the West Geauga High School Interact Club and the Rotary Club of Chesterland.

More than 110 students and 25 Rotarians were in attendance and welcomed by District Governor, Jim McKee. The keynote speaker was Roger Cram, who spoke of random acts of kindness and talked about a secret group anyone can join. Visit for further information.

The Interact clubs spent time determining what their signature District Service Project would be, and "Shoes for the Soul"; collecting shoes to send to Africa where many use water bottles tied to their feet for shoes.
