There will be a Live Nativity Scene with Manger animals and characters at Stow-Glen Retirement Village, Front Lawn 4285 Kent Road in Stow, on Dec. 13, 4:30 to 8 p.m.
Every year, the staff and residents of Stow-Glen Retirement Village share their love of the Season with the community by hosting a live nativity scene. As one of the areas largest and oldest faith based continuing care retirement communities, Stow-Glen fills the desire of those in the community wishing to celebrate an old fashioned Christmas.
The live nativity scene is a depiction of our common understanding of the manger scene when the baby Jesus was born. Attendees will see the traditional manger animals such as a camel, sheep, donkey and others. Characters from the manger scene will include the wise men, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. This family friendly event draws hundreds of attendees of all ages.
There is no need to RSVP as this event is free and open to the public. Attendees can park and enjoy interacting with the manger animals and singing Christmas Carols, or they can stay in their cars and slowly drive through and enjoy the scene.
