Representatives of Akron's Rubber City Kennel Club pose with Stow Police Sgt. Steve Miller at City Council's Nov. 17 after the club donated $1,500 to the city's police K-9 program for the purchase and training of a new dog. Miller was the handler of Colt, one of the police department's three K-9s who died from complications from leukemia in October. The donation immediately followed Mayor Sara Kline presenting Miller with a proclamation in honor of Colt.
